Welcome all! Jburk, you nailed why I wanted to start this. There's a possibility of the switch being thrown for the Bomber forums. I doubt the trustee cares about the carving community. I just hope enough people find this place before BOL shuts down. Not certain that's happening but fortune favors the prepared, right?

Re: old content: The main issue is that all the old posts belong* to Bomber, which is in someone else's hands. Jim and I talked about options, but there was no clear path that didn't potentially open me up to legal troubles.

* "Belong" is probably the wrong word, but close enough.

Arrived safely. Thank you Corey for doing something in light of the current state of BOL. The stoke is still there, the community is as well! Katie and I with the help of a very close friend have some things in the works. Planning these get togethers in the future is something we want to do. Probably more front range but we will see. This season is a planning season but there may be more as we approach the dates in Aspen. Alpine and carving is alive and well! Let's make it even better!

Thank you for keeping up the work required to keep us all together. Hopefully there will be a way to save the Bomber product.

Great work Corey! Is there any chance of you (acting as a moderator of BOL) being able to send a notification of this site to all email addresses registered at BOL, without legal problems?
Regardless of what happens to BOL, I think it is a good idea to find a way to assure that we can keep ownership of our community IP (all forum posts) in the future.
